Basketball Savvy, But not Business Savvy

I have a dilemma maybe somebody can give me some ideas or advise. As a former college and semi pro basketball player. I have build up all kind of contacts and pipelines in regards of basketball. I have friends that play, coach, scout and manage in the NBA. Initially I wanted to be a scout and work my way up the ladder. That kind of went out the door since my best friend does not play in the NBA anymore. I feel like I have a lot to offer the game now that my playing days are over. Occasionally, I play in leagues and help young eager players with their ball handling and things of that nature.

What I want to do is somehow turn my basketball knowledge and connections into some kind of profitable company. I would like to help place inspiring players from Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and South America. I would be a pipeline for those seeking to play in America at either the high school, college, or NBA and semi pro level. All similar to an agent but not exactly. Can someone add thier 2 cent. Thanks

Hey man. Like you said, aren't you talking about being an agent? A "pipeline" from international to nba?

With your experience and contacts, could you form some sort of selective, elite community of international players inspiring towards the NBA? Maybe a community of international youngsters in high school or junior high who get together? Would the NBA help compensate you to get them all together? Invite your scout friends and even players to your international weekend. But then again, don't they already have this?

(EDIT btw man what teams did you play for?)
