I've done A, B, and C. In that order. Actually, I did 'A' a few times before doing 'B' and 'C'. I did 'A' by saving up $20,000 and borrowing the rest - people with money are much, much more likely to help if you first put a significant amount of your own, non-borrowed money at risk and if you don't try to bite off more than you can handle at one time.

Simply stated, use OPM (Other People's Money). You can do this for a company of any size. Granted, the higher the amount, the more creative you must be, but...it is not impossible.

OPM is a fun buzzword that a lot of people like to say out loud. But, don't be disillusioned into thinking the Other People are simply going to give you their Money without you taking a risk with your own money to some extent. . .

Out of curiosity, how many deals have you done involving OPM?

Pretty much all of 'em. Including my personal residence and car and, for that matter, a video camera among other things. . .

I'm not referring to personal expenses. I am referring to investments using OPM. How many of these deals have you done?

Pretty much all of them. I've done a few smaller deals using cash on hand, but if I have $10,000 on hand and owe $20,000 on a house, isn't that $10k OPM?

If you are looking for the number of investments I've purchased using OPM, I'll guess 30?
