    asksunday.com launch

    Hey All,

I recently launched my new company called Sunday LLC. We provide personal assistant service at an affordable price with plans starting at $29/month. We do a wide variety of tasks for our customers including restaurant reservations, travel booking, internet research, outbound calling, etc. Website is www.asksunday.com.

Would love to hear your thoughts on the business and site. Also, as we are just getting started, any advice on how to drive awareness and sign-up would be much appreciated.

    Best,

    Avi

Very original concept. I could see a service like this take off like personal chefs. I would believe your focus market is the busy business exec. Given that I'd even say you are way too cheap. I'd advertise in business journals that cater to mid and upper management types.

    Good luck.

The response has been solid thus far and we are ahead of our projections for subscribers. We originally beta tested for a few months with friends and colleagues and then moved to paid service about a month ago. We were able to convert many of those people to full customers. One thing that we have been pleasantly surprised about is that cancellations have been very low thus far. The media has been friendly thus far and we have gotten exposure in some well read blogs.

We are evaluating the various online marketing tools to drive awareness, but are very conscious about not damaging the Sunday brand.

Can anyone recommend any online marketing companies they have worked with?

So, you're like a personal concierge, minus being actually in a town for someone? Would that be the service you offer, you'd say?

If so, would you consider putting a person or two in the bigger cities, to maybe set up a more personal situation for bigger clientelle

We are more 24/7 personal assistant than concierge. We will wait on hold with Time Warner Cable to dispute a bill for you where concierges won't do that.

Our largest market currently is NYC (where we are based) and we do provide errand and messenger services there. As we grow we will be expanding these services to other major markets.

Very Cool. I like the idea, which is why i asked how far your reach was, and what you guys exactly do.

I think the idea is on point.

I love this idea, I thought of something similar that I'm looking to continue to pursue in the future, but I must applaud you on going for it. I love this.
