Ask Richard Branson a question! (<12 hours)

ok, I browse the www.somethingawful.com forums regularly and this guy posted that he runs this radio show: www.gwradio.com

His boss has asked him to interview (edit: turns out it's Sam Branson his son, and not Richard... apparently he runs some of the Virgin companies so might still be interesting)

It's in a couple of hours though lol... 6:20PM-8:00PM EDT on Wednesday 20th

It costs to join the SA forums ($10), so maybe quickly jot down some questions here you'd like asked and they might (no guarantee) be included... I'll link back to this thread.

    cheers

I don't know about the most famous entrepreneur ever.

I've always wondered about these thing: question and answer sessions. What could one ask Richard Branson (thats related to business) that he could answer that could have practical applications for the likes of most of us who are just starting out?! And maybe there's a lot that I'm overlooking...

He's not nearly as well known in the states as he is in other former British Colonies (haha). Seriously though, Branson's not nearly as quintessential in the US as he is in the UK, Ireland, Scotland, Australia etc.

Folks here don't know anything about Virgin Cola because it bombed so quickly. Virgin Megastores have scaled back significantly. The airline is dope but that all depends on whether or not you fly abroad (and to London, South Africa, Australia and a few other places). Virgin Mobile is starting to gain headway, however.

I like Rich's motto of the modest travelling businessman. Just a t-shirt,jacket, jeans, and a slingbag flying with Virgin Airlines

Virgin Airlines is the world's best airline, IMO. I've flown them close to a dozen times, mainly to London and South Africa.

Only ANA remotely compares in service, but something about Virgin's attitude is incomparable.

The hot british stewardess chicks with the belt buckles that say "Virgin" don't hurt either.

Anyway, I can think of a million questions I'd like to ask someone at Richard Branson's level, and I'd think that'd be the case no matter where you are in your own business development.

    About Richard Branson....

Virgin Airliines made its inaugural launch in
Jamaica just July '06 gone and had the opportunity
to see Richard Branson at his best.

Typical of all his public relation campaigns, it was
rather flamboyant: sandwiched by girls while dancing
on one of the plane's wings while smoking a mock
blunt; dancing with the local folk singers and just
    having a grand time.

I did a case study of his rise to prominence by
going against big incumbents like British Airways
and it's interesting to see how he runs Virgin through
    business units.

Inspiring for any upcoming entrepreneurs. Google him
and you'll come up with plenty of resources.

Yep, first time I heard of him was during the competition he held to find out who was taking his place or whatever.
