    Talking Are you Wealthy?

    Hi Guys,
Recently read this interview on Bob Proctor and Stephen Pierce really kept me thinking alot. Is being wealthy so easy? As what they discuss in the interview? Or am I focusing on the wrong things? Anyway I think some of the points are quite relevant... Might as well give it a shot in changing how I think and what I'm focusing on. If you have time do review it, as i learn many "New" things and please comment about it. I would like to know what everyone thinks about it.

Just download the report and read it. You might find some business opportunity in there... i think

    Jason

its very true that most people do focus on the wrong things. Most people aren't considered wealthy. Of these people, it doesn't matter what level of education you have, what type of job you have, or what type of investments you make.

Its amazing that people are still taking life changing advice from people who aren't successful in that particular area.

Becoming wealthy will be hard as long as this continues to happen. There is a lot more to becoming wealthy and successful.

I'm starting to see that success comes not from focusing on wealth, but focusing on helping others. Based on folks I've studied, it seems like true wealth follows them lending a major helping hand to a large number of people.

Add values to others and wealth will follow you. The more values you add to more people, the more wealth you can attract.

Study the wealthy people in the world. All of them add tremendous values to lots of people.

My definition of being wealthy is how long you can last without having to work. I read this in a book and I can't remember what book but here is an example:

If your monthly expenses are $1000 per month and you have $2000 dollars saved, your wealth would be two months.

So...to me wealth describes a period of time and how long I can last without working by living of savings or residual income. People with passive income from business that throw of cash are wealthy because whether the work or not, they will continue to have money.

Yup... I totally agree with that. This year.. I learn 2 important things in life...

    1. If you help enough ppl get what they want, you'll get everything you want.
    2. Give more value than what you received in cash.

Just by implementing 2 of this philosophy, I have increase my income at least by 10 fold..!!

All came to me just by reading an interview (Click here to read it)

Anyway hope you'll guys learn something from it and I do add some value to you guys

You're right Stealthy One, wealth is measured on how much you've extended a hand to others. ^__^

Wealth is a very interesting thing. My friend Matthew Chan has a book called the Intrepid Way which basically says the same thing as stated above. Wealth is the amount of time you can last without work. I think the same example was given as well. I also know that Rich Dad Poor Dad talks about the idea of wealth as well.

I believe that there are many different roads to wealth. The problem is that wealth is all around us, but most people have been programmed not to see it. I believe in a principle called the law of attraction. (Yes, from the secret) I have been using it years before the secret ever came out. What ever you tend to focus on, you tend to create. Now it isn't some type of magic ability, it is pure science. Thing of it like this for min. If your whole life you were led to believe that 2+2=10. Then that is your reality. No matter what anyone tells you. That is your reality.

Now if we apply this to wealth. If you are looking for it, ideas, thoughts and relationships will be noticed more by you. Similar to when you buy a new car. You start to notice everyone seems to be driving your car. People tend to think of money as something Solid. Money is not solid, money is nothing more than a idea. Money can be considered anything that you hold to have value. This forum could be money to me because I think the information here can be turned into value. So this makes this forum one form of money. I do believe that helping people also tends to bring about wealth somehow. I don't want to get into the religious aspect because I don't want to offend anyone. For whatever reason there is some force out there that tends to give you back what you give. I have spent time with many successful people and they all give to charity.

Well this is just my opinion on the subject. Just thought I would throw in my two cents.

    Thanks

Josh, that's a good point - successful/wealthy people, in addition to helping others, also attract money instead of pushing it away.

I believe that as well and giving more than receiving - I help others and give advice a lot, because I am excited that I am earning something, even though it is not substantial - I have did it tested it and actually am earning something

it gets me hyped up and would like to share the feeling as well since it can create a great network ability

I've found that creating wealth/money is easier teaming up with like minded intelligent hardworking people (creating teams). But finding people with all three of these traits is difficult.

"Helping People" is such a broad term. I think it does not apply to becoming financally wealthy.

The people in society who truely help others, are usually those who barely make end's meat to pay the bills and put food on their table. Teachers are the first to come to mind. Even doctors, while they usually make a good living, most will never become truely "wealthy."

Making money in business is recognizing opportunity and capitalizing on it. Find something people want or need, exploit the opportunity, and profit from it. Simple as that. You might become the next billionaire by coming up with the latest and greatest "widget" that people want. Whether or not this widget actually "helps people" is another story. My point here, is that you don't need to help people in the "purest sense" to become wealthy.

Now, once you become wealthy, it beomes much easier to help others because you have the monetary means to do so. Whether or not this is one's social responsibility is a personal choice and will hopefully remain that way. I know plenty of weathy individuals who do not give their money away to charity, or equivilant "non-profit" organizations, but rather create companies which provide jobs to thousands of indiviuals, which provides means for them to live their ( and their families) lives.

On a final note, the rich are supporting this country whether they like it or not. Remember that the top 5% pay over 50% of this country's taxes, providing products and services we take for granted every day.

    Just my 2 cents....

I think that being "wealthy" means different things to different people. Of course when it comes to money we all have our own idea of what being wealth is. I do agree with assisting others who want to be assisted can make you wealthy.
