Everyone wants to be rich, but nobody wants to pay the dues. It's the same thing as wanting to go to heaven but not wanting to die, therefore somebody came up with the Rapture where YOU get lifted directly up into heaven and the OTHER GUY is the one who does the messy death stuff.

Unfortunately, there's no Rapture in business, you pay your dues or you don't become rich. The lottery was invented so that people didn't have to pay dues, the government would make them millionaires in an instant, and what happens is that they just spend it all and go back to being poor. "Rich" is more a state of mind than a bank account balance, IMO.

For me, I just want to be able to feed myself without having to rely on the government or a boss-I am disabled and have been on US disability payments for most of my adult life, or have worked menial jobs where I had to kiss some evil dude's butt to eat. I want the basics via my own determination, smarts, and work, not by leeching off Uncle Sam or kissing butt. If I can have that, I'm rich. Oh, and living someplace where I don't have to be harassed by gangstas and drug addicted bums in my daily existence.

I'm not going to act all confident and say i'm going to be rich no matter what.

The truth is, many things can happen and my dream might never become true.
For example, if i lose interest,motivation, desire,.....
Or in the worst case, death.
OR the thousand other bad things that might happen.

But as long as i'm still alive and well, i'll try to do my best.

Lots of personal 'money'? Not really, my businesses will have all the 'money'.

Wealthy? Yes

Passive/residual income greater than expenses? Yep

Rich with life and family? Indeed
