    Are you born an entrepreneur?

Just something that popped into my head,
A huge part of being a entrepreneur is the dedication, burning desire, mindset and overwhelming self-belief - i guess which can be grouped into "mindset"

A mindset can be learnt and adapted to over time, what i want to ask is are you born an entrepreneur, just in your natural trait or is it something we condition ourseleves to in life or could it be something thats taught at an academic level, i dont mean the business skills, like book management, marketing etc, i mean the entrepreneurial. . .gene....if you like ?!

I think that everyone of us, no matter where we come from, how old we are or which interests we have, has potential to achieve and make it BIG with the right mindset. As Shakespeare famously said, "Be not afraid of greatness: some are born great, some achieve greatness and some have greatness thrust upon them". - (Quote Act II, Scene V). With enough desire, passion and drive, any individual may achieve greatness and success but it's the spark or burning desire to succeed that separates the ones who attain success from the ones who give up and fail. Good luck to all!

    Entrepreneurs

I think anyone can be a successful entrepreneur. Like you said, it is a mindset. I have written a book to help people get started with the mindset of an entrepreur. It is called Climbing the Rock, Unemployed to Entrepreneur in 90 days. I have studied successful people for years and found that there is a pattern to success and anyone can develop it.

I have just always been an entrepreneur. I don't think I could ever change either. It's quite funny, I can pick up rather easily when I am talking to someone who has the same mindset as me and is committed to starting up businesses. I think it can be developed as I have seen other friends of mine suddenly see an opportunity and change however I think much has to do with the experiences you go through growing up. Well it was like that for me anyway.

There may be certain innate personality traits (either you're born with them or develop them very early in life) that help in certain areas of entrepreneurship, but your upbringing and experience plays a big role too. As just one example, if you have parents or other important figures in your life while you're growing up who are entrepreneurs, that can serve as a form of inspiration for you to pursue the same path.

While some people are born with it, anyone can certainly become a successful entrepreneur with hard work and the right mindset as described by you.
