    Question Are you a preneuraholic?

    Are you a preneuraholic?
If you got the question you probably are.

A Preneuraholic is someone that has been bitten by the entrepreneurial bug and became addicted to the entrepreneurial lifestyle.

Once bitten you cannot go back to your former jobber life. You hate your job (if you still have a job). You may have quit a "normal" job to pursue your dream biz.

You obsess about business ideas or inventions. You can pull ideas out of your butt all day long. You love to hear about others' ideas and usually believe you can do it better.

If you own more than 5 domains you are on the verge of becoming a Preneuraholic. If you own more than 10 domains and most lie dormant, you are a full out Preneuraholic. You just know one of these days you will build that biz or that web site and become the next Pierre Omidyar (Ebay founder...a true Preneuraholic would know that).

A Preneuraholic drives their spouse/bff/aquaintences nuts with their latest great idea.

    Are you a preneuraholic?

Eek...I have about 50 domains...I guess that makes me a preneuraholic.

    Wow! 50 domains!
Mind if I ask how many are active websites and how many were ideas that never came to be (or maybe you hope to set them up...one day...)?

I would have thought there were a whole lot more of us preneuraholics hanging out here! Come on...fess up.

I think about business all the time.. and I'm only 15. I can't really imagine working for somebody as a full time job. I think I have the "preneuraholic" mindset.

I am so amazed that at 15 you already know you don't want to work for somebody else doing the usual 8 - 5 routine. I didn't get bit until I'd been in the typical work force for a number of years. But once I knew I wanted to start my own business that was it for me. I left an awesome job at the best company I'd ever worked for and of course everybody thought I was nuts.

Now I'm a full blown PRENEURAHOLIC!

I'd love to hear how others deal with this "addiction". Is is a curse or a blessing?

I am really interested to hear how you all feel about being entrepreneurs (or preneuraholics). No ulterior motives. From one entrepreneur to another-do feel it is a curse or a blessing? Please go to the poll above and vote!

When I was 15, I had to get my first job, i didnt want to work so i started my first business, I have been at it ever since. I just hate the idea of working for $10 an hour, at my age, and when I get older I dont want to work for someone, My grandfather owned numerous businesses, my dad is self employed, i guess my fate is the same! I just gotta make it through college, then I can go full force

I think it's a good idea working for at least a year when you're a teenager, so you can find out that working for the rest of your life is really an idea you will grow to despise (for me, at least).

It is a blessing to be an entrepreneur.

Entrepreneurs want to rise above the pack, to create a life worth living, instead of just meekly accepting their lot.

About 25% are active. 25% were bought with intention to sell, 25% are LLLL.coms (no idea what I'm going to do with them) and the other 25% were bought with plan to develop.

The reason I'm using percentages LOL is because I have about 50 domains, but I don't really know the exact number. Sorry about that.

I actually had an office job for 10 months before I started university. To be honest, it wasn't that bad...part of me loved it. So I can't really say I hate working for people.

Besides, customers are always right...so technically, most entrepreneurs are still working for people.

Wow, so far I'm the only one that voted Curse!

Sometimes I just get so totally consumed (like now) with all the different ideas that I want to implement that I feel like my head is going to explode. I research new businesses all the time and every time I think "This is THE ONE" something else comes along and off I go...

I want to to take my website in so many different directions that I end up not doing anything. I have really great products (my ebooks are pretty darned good...not a single return!), but the web site is a snooze.

And as much as I love my web biz, I still want to do so much more!
