It's a place where you can write about whatever you want. You can get things off your chest. You can talk about your passions and interests. And it's so cool when someone else, a complete stranger, reads your posts, comments, or subscribes because they like what you're saying.

The money.

Its very hard to get enough followers to earn some money from blogging. With average Adsense CTR of 0.2% earning you few cents you need 2,500,000 visitors to earn $100.

I find that I tend to give more thought to blog posts. This not only helps me communicate my ideas to others better, but it helps me better understand myself and get to deeper, more meaningful issues.

Yeah, I'm a blogger but still at starting point, and ad-sense is only way to earn through your blog. Affiliates marketing, Click Bank and Other Commission based site will be great source of money making too... You can earn more in your blog if you have traffic means visitors.
