    Are these websites real???

Established Baby Adsense Affiliate Website Business - eBay (item 160264360914 end time Jul-29-08 18:30:00 PDT)

Ebay has been listing and selling these type of websites, but are they real, can you actually make that much money, or is it a scam?? Thanks!

I would be very skeptical of someone saying that they made $3600 in adsense earnings from the site, but then let it go on ebay for $305. Not to mention, if that site really was receiving that type of traffic, there would be some alexa spikes or at least data to back it up.

Typically the sites you find on Ebay are turnkey sites where there are 100 other identical ones out there as well.

of course it is a scam - don't be so naive sheeesh.

If you had websites like that - they require no maintenance - why would you sell them.

It IS possible to make a lot of money from adsense but you need hundreds of sites.

I can TEACH you how to do this if you are interested - its not free though.

pm me if you wanna know more

Ebay and Craigslist have been battling each other for a couple years. A former Craigslist employee went to work for Ebay and sold them his stake in Craigslist. Craig Newmark objected, so Ebay ordered him to sell them ALL of Craigslist. When Newmark refused, the two sides sued each other. Anyway, one of the results of the dispute was Ebay setting up a faux-Craigslist section on its site for local classified ads. Nobody bit, so Ebay opened it up to anybody who wanted to post anything. The result is a flood of scam turnkey website scheme ads. Anyway, ads like the one Kyle asked about are a result of the Ebay-Craigslist dispute. Just ignore them.

$3600 is too much. In fact, it takes time for Google Adsense to generate $100 for you.

dnScoop - Domain Name Value, History, Stats Tool and Forums

Always start here.. look at the sites stats... it will give you a fairly good view as to what the site is really worth. That does not mean you take the value they give as that is worthless... what you want to look at is traffic, links, and age...

This site has no Alexa Ranking, its only 11 months old, it only has 5 backlinks... there is absolutely no way this site has made even a dollar off of Adsense... 100% impossible... you have to have traffic to make money on Adsense...
