Are There A Market For Ebook For Parents

    Hi Entrepreneurs,

I hope you can give some feedback to me. I have been conducting workshops
and seminars for children and youth for the past 6 years in the area of motivation and entrepreneurship.

If I were to write an ebook to share with parents how to raise motivated kids, do you think there's a market?

But this ebook is only a marketing tool for them to know about us, and eventually sign up for our program. Do you think it will work?

    Thanks for your feedback.

Are you going to SELL this eBook ? Well, Joe, this idea is not compelling. Basically you are selling your product/service TWICE and people may not like it.

You need to offer this as a 'FREE REPORT'. This is what many of the top affiliate marketers do. They produce valuable ebook for FREE for the target audience and coax them to join your program. Your FREE REPORT should give some really useful tips to the parents with regard to motivation their kids and then you have to highlight what other benefits the kids may get by joining your program.

I have a spin-off idea that you can explore too.

Have you thought about virtual class-rooms for your programs ? ie., videos of your workshops published online to the entire world ?...and then setup a membership site (for a monthly fee), keep updating the content (videos) on a regular basis...this is a good option for a recurring revenue and broader reach of audience, and build up a solid member base. With 1000 members with a monthly minium fee of 10, will work out to $$10,000/- every month. We have such membership/video streaming infrastructure available, if you want to explore further.

    Good Luck !

    Hey Singaboy,

I'm offering this ebook free to parents. I'll figure that's a good way to circulate the ebook to as many parents in a shortest possible time.

Your virtual classroom is really cool. I like that idea. But I want to go step by step first. Get whatever plan that I have on hand into action first. Your idea will come next.

I am definitely keen to explore on your idea.

    Good Luck, Joe.

You can post your ebook on your site, and then setup a blog, write articles around your theme (motivation for kids) and link it up to your ebook...so you get back links, increase web traffic, and thus visitors can be drawn towards your site...once they are already on your site, chances are very high that they will signup (you should have a signup page on your website )...

Also, you can write articles like 'How to...' (motivate kids), 'Top 10 ways to...'..

Also, I don't know what is the usual period of the year (June ? or Jan?) a primary school admission starts in the US (I dont live there, btw)...but just try to make use of that opportunity...with flyers, banners etc..thats when you'll see parents' minds filled with kids' education and their personal improvement...and thus a better conversion...

    Hope that helps !

And, don't forget to come back and post here with your progress

It sounds like a pretty good idea to me, and the ideas suggested by singaboy sound pretty solid.

However, the only way to know for sure if your idea will work is if you go ahead and try it out. It sounds like you already have done some of your own homework...has your research and experience suggested that there is demand for this sort of thing? My guess is that there is evidence of demand otherwise you wouldn't have pursued it.

Best bet is to try it out and see what happens. The success of some ideas might surprise you.

good idea, specially when you offer it for free that serves as a guide for parents... Parents will know that your aim is good.. and will consider them that this is not just a business...But with a good concern
