    Arrow Arcade/Teen Hang Out

I am looking at starting an Arcade/Teen Hang Out with PlayStation, Wii, X-box, table games, Stage, Dance Floor, And juice bar. I am getting some of my finding from the local college and am looking at getting some from organization that are aginst underage drinking and donate to that stuff. Do you have any idea on who i could hit up for some donations for a non-profit thing.

I also need to make up a budget. Does anyone Own an arcade or something along this line that i could take a look at your budget so i can make one of mine.

    Thanks in advance to everyone.

Arcade as in the big clunky things that were popular up until the late 90's?... those dont survive any more...we had two in our mall over a series of years that shut down.

If your looking at doing things with consoles, then your looking at a lan-gaming center, which hate to tell you, but girls dont go to these things which is fine just dont put down the dance floor.

As for the dance floor, theres a few places teens can go in the city that have teen night clubs where dancing and dj's play music..and the bar im sure is impressive too.

Teens want to feel like full adults..they dont want to feel like they're at a day-care center where they play checkers and eat cheap pizza, so you better impress them. They are also a very trendy crowd too.

Take all this into consideration, but its a good idea.

The way i want to set it up would be more like a bar but would have any alcohol. I live in a smaller town of about 5500 and another 2000 or so college kids. there is nothing to do in this town and most kids go out and drink and drive that is why i want to give them something to do. We have a bowling ally but is poorly kept and a rec center that closes at 10pm. the only thing open to do at night is the bars and most people in town are not of age to go into the bars.

When I say Arcade i mean some old style games like the old arcades had but i also want like pool football, air hockey, and so on. there would also be a restaurant type of thing with the bar for quick food items.

What are some ideas that i could put in that would bring in kids from middle school age to college kids. I know that a wide range but i want a big building to accommodate them all.

If youre going to have that many age groups, the College guys arnt going to want to hangout anywhere near the middle school kids for obvious reasons. I'd narrow down that group to just middle and highschool sense most people in college are old enough to go to bars and do the things the others cant do.

Well I have to have the college kids in the age group because i might be getting some funding from the college. The facility will be large enough to have both middle school and college kids. And most middle school kids are going to have to be home at night and the college kids will be there at night.

Still looking for a budget sheet from some that is kinda doing this or something along those lines just need a guide to get started.

In terms of Teen hangout - I would recommend TeenAspect.com

Granted, it is similar to this but it does have some great posts and is new! They are also giving away chunks of equity for new sign ups!

I know it's not on PS3/xbox but I just wanted to add something!
