Anyone own a security company

I am starting a new security company and am having problems getting contracts signed. I was wonder if anyone else in into security and if they could give me some pointers on how to sell a start up security company. I have 3 years security experience and 3 years of business management sills. Someone help.

few yrs back i was working for a company and got to work on security service providers website n internet marketing promotion project. i learn few things frm that project abt selling security services.

to get new contracts all u can do is-:
1) contact property managers, hotels, club owners/in charge, owner/managers of event management companies with ur best price rates.
2) contact running succesfully security company and try to get sub-contract u can offer ur help if incase they have lots of contracts and need officers thats how u ll get sub contract.
3) advertise etc in ur local area, news papers radio etc.
4) if u r offering detective services, background check etc then u can make ur companies website and use internet marketing and promotion for those services.
