Anyone know anything about partnering with Google?!

...and no I'm not talking about adsense.

From perusing the Google-labs and keeping abreast of what they've got going on in their idea factory, we've come across a technology/application they've developed and are in the Beta stages of deploying. Coincedentally (not really, but lets make it sound "romantic") a friend and I are shopping around a business idea that could provide Google with a way to deploy and test the market for this product.

Does anyone know anything about the process by which you go about partnering with Google or expressing interest in utilizing one of their products (similar to how eVite is driven by Yahoo! Calendar?)??

You have to network your way to get to google. Its safe to say since your asking this question on the forum your network isn't deep enough to get onto google's radar.

Your better off just building a solid company w/o google, then you can walk away a billionaire when they acquire you 5 years from now.

Now that sounds like a good plan.

Good luck on getting with Google, you'll have to sell your soul if you want to try and partner up with them though.

Yes but making a company to sell within 5 years is stupid. Why? Well what happens if google doesn't want you and you only had a 5 yea plan for the business your screwed as your gonig to have to make a plan very quickly to keep the business afloat, also google will only invest billions if it thinks that it will benefit them in the long run and get then a decent ROI % before they eventualy sell it on(they will definatley do this im certain of it).

Now if you set up a company as a company and you are set up for the long run and get taken over by google but you werent planning on it, is far better as you still have your strategys plus you've made loads of $$ before you actually thought you would of.
