anyone keen for an entrepreneurial challenge???

I've seen alot of posts around lately saying what would you do with $1, $10, $12, $500 etc. So why don't we do it???

Does anyone else want to see what they can achieve on a limited budget in a time frame of say three months.

It will test our resourcefulness, make use of our contacts and test our imaginations.

There is no prizes at the end of the road, just seeing what you accomplished and what others accomplished as well, allowing us to pass on any knowledge we picked up to those people that only have (or only prepared to risk) a small amount of funds.

If anyone is interested, post in here and suggest some rules to put in place to ensure fairness etc etc.

    Matt

    Sounds cool I LOVE challenges!
I think the budget should be around $35-40 (or possibly a bit more)
It would be interesting to see what other people would do with such a low budget.

I was thinking maybe USD100 (simply because it is a decent low budget, sure some people can make an empire out of a red paper clip, but most cant) and 100 days to see what you can produce.

People can use their YE blogs to keep us posted on how things are going.
I think it will be interesting to see what people do (especially whether it is all online with limited budget), how much time they actually spend on the project etc etc.

The reason I say no reward is mainly because it stops people "cheating" and spending more the $100 to come out on top

That sounds like a lot of fun and I would love to join in.
I live in the UK so $100 equates to £61.50.
I have just begun a little something with £128 which is double the limit so I will have to start up something seperate. Do we have a start date?

start date will probably be in about a fortnight or so, which gives me enough time to mock up some guidelines.

It will also give some time for some more people to register there interest as there only looks to be about three (including myself) interested at this time. The good thing though is that it doesn't matter how many people do it as its just a method of trialling lots of low cost or free ideas and services to make a profit and it will provide information for people in the future

If it is possible then this challenge sounds like a lot of fun

    It is a great idea.

In college I had a professor come in and give each group $20. He then said, make as much as you can out of this by the end of the week.

    It was a great exercise.

We created superbowl t-shirts and made almost $100 bucks.

The key to the competition though is a short time frame. I think if you make it months, it would not work. It would have to be weeks. One week worked great for us.

A group is key as well. Doing this alone might lose its edge because you lose the motivation that teammates give you.

    Just my .02 though.

I think the limit is $100.

My question is regarding the limit, if a group of investors offered me £400 to fund this, would this be past the $100 limit since my personal contribution toward the project is still less than $100. Thanks. BTW does everyone have MSN?
