I am looking at joining distributors such as the ASCII Group and Ingram Micro. Anyone have experience with them or other distributors? I am looking at DVDs to resell and I'd make orders of around $4,000 per order. I hope this is enough of an order quantity.

That should be a fine order size. I with with wholesalers that do not require min order. A $4,000 order should get you an account with just about anyone.
