Anyone ever tried to get corporate sponsorship??

Hey Everyone,
I have a website (www.actorsondemand.com) which deals with video podcasts and actors. Has anyone ever tried to get corporate sponsorship for their own projects (website, business,etc.) Im trying to figure how to go about it all so I can get some corporate sponsorship for my site, any advice or opinions?

I have never tried. Your best bet would probably to hit the phones and start asking questions. It amazing how much you learn when you pick it up and just start asking questions.

Ive just started up a paintball team, and i have been looking for sponsors for ages..But all i did was find out the email of the managing director of some company and send them an email directly. I know thats probobly your best chance for smaller companies, i dont know about large international corperations though.

Take your phone and start asking, you will learn a lot and will help you to sharpen your timing.
