Question anybody working with MP3 sites?

    Hi,
Maybe someone's got any information on opening and running an MP3 site, a site that sells MP3 music. Are there any engines or legal content providers, like where do you get all the MP3z from, etc.

    Thanx!

I own three and instead of providing the content, I link directly to an MP3 site on clickbank.

    http://www.mp3advance.com/

    pays out 70%

    Question

Thanks for your answers. I also wanted to ask that question, noname.

Yet maybe someone knows a content provider that might work somehow like that - whenever my customer downloads an MP3, the content provider provides him with the song and subtracts from my, let's say E-Gold account, a certain amount. So this way it shouldn't be the content provider's business how and how much the customer pays me.

Not too much but i don't complain.

$150 a month. Combined between the three.

They also contribute to my overall adsense revenue.

Now, I may get some heat for this and I may not but, I refuse to advertise via PPC (adwords) anymore... "In My Opinion" it's a waste. (I repeat, "In My Opinion")

Now if you have a niche with fewer than 10 other competitors then it may be for you but MP3 keywords are going to draw a large pool of advertisers.

My slim success is primary due in part to the domain names i own. They actually have the word mp3 in them, so when people search it actually pops up automatically. 1 of them floats to #1 on google very often and another is static at #3 on google.

On thing I will spend money on is text link ads.

Trial and Error is the name of the game. Don't expect overnight results.
