    Anybody Care to Barter?

I'm a big fan of bartering and think it makes alot
of sense at times (especially when you're low on
    money!)

I first used it when I was starting up an ISP in
a small town in Montana... my business partner
and I bartered with an attorney to exchange his
preparation of our articles of incorporation for
his free internet access. (We also bartered with
a local hotel/restaurant in exchange for our
    free lunches!)

I had a friend there who was a counselor and he
saw many clients on the reservation. He bartered
like a madman and was always bringing home
horses, hay, motorcycles, etc. (I think he liked
not having to report it on his taxes!)

Anyway, it never hurts to ask someone if they
would like to barter with you. If they have a
product/service that you want and vice versa...
go for it! You will save money, help others with
your product/service, and maybe make some
great business relationships along the way

    To your success,
    Brian

You forgot to add one more thing - what are you bringing to the barter table?

    sewing for graphic design

I don't know if we're supposed to put up specific barter requests here but here's one:

I need someone who can sew and I'll trade that for my graphic design and technical illustration skills.

Is there a place on this site where barter-ers can meet?

    Thanks!

You may find someone on our HireMyMom.com site. Most of these women have left full time employment to work from home part time.

    Good luck with your search!
