Any one got a service business?

Heya guys...

Im working on my dads business atm, along with mine but what im doing is organizing a IT platform to be built for his business.

This platform will be a mix of CRM/Accounting/Job dispatching/Knowledgebase mixed together.

My questions to anyone on YE is.. Does anyone here have a service business and what could they benefit and want in an IT platform.

My idea of a service business is Sparky/Repairman/Courier/lawmower etc etc, People that have multiple jobs... etc

I am wanting to start a horse broker service. I want to be the middle man in helping people sell their horses, horse items, and horse services such as training, breeding, and so on. This may work for my company.
