no, right?, LOL...just wondering...I would need a loan so I can provide them with a large amount of my products....I guess my chances are slim...

Hmmm...I think you would have to go to the Babies R Us or Toys R Us headquarters to present your products. I was watching this show on CNBC about Wal-Mart and the couple on their had to fly to Wal-Mart's headquarters.

Think big... but start small.. as you are trying to get your product into Babies R Us you should be marketing your product in other ways...

I'm thinking of going to local boutiques and see if they can sell it in their shops..if it sells, they can get a %....also gonna try selling on ebay and see what happens.

Haha I saw that show also, cool ending too! The couple actually convinced Wal-Mart to put their product in their stores. It wasn't like the couple wasn't well off to begin with I forgot what they did before they created their product. If I remember right the product was some type of big sticky note thing that hangs on a wall I might be wrong though.

Are you promoting your line in other ways? Do you have a website that sells it directly? Are you sending samples to celebrities? Tons of them are having new babies and the rest of America seems to follow whatever they're doing.

I just started this, and having some items printed up with my logo..so don't have a website as yet. Yes I am planning on sending out to the celebs....I really haven't been dedicating my full undivided attention to this as yet, since I work full-time outside of my home....but I'm getting there.

Also, would you happen to know of any companies that supplies and prints the products with my logo? Cafepress is just too much (as I stated in another post).

I don't work in the manufacturing space but I'm sure many others here do; they may be better suited to answer your question.

In the least, I would go find a small, local t-shirt printing company to see if they can print some samples for you before taking on some big projects once the orders come in. If you can meet them face to face, they may be willing to give you a discount after understanding your situation.

What is unique about your product that other lines don't have? Is it better quality of fabric, a better product or is it just a logo? I'm not too familiar with cafepress besides for their high prices. I don't think you could send them your own items to be printed but I could be wrong...

rogercbryan has a good point there. Start marketing your product and let it sell. Then you have something to show...

I think that you should look outside of Babies-R-us for the moment and focus on developing your product and gaining a following, eventually you may realize that you are better off with you personal system than with Babies-R-Us. There are a lot of other baby stores that have many locations that you could choose to go after, so don't forget about the medium and small players that make up the rest of the market, because they can be you best bet overall... You never know.
