Hi all, this one is probably dedicated more towards the admins.

To encourage/aid entrepreneurship and general use of these forums, would it be possible to give members who meet a certain criteria (perhaps post count) an to post press releases?

Or, along the same line, a web directory where they could post their website to?

I'm just trying to think of ways to get people to participate more and also get some extra (easy) assistance.

Thoughts and comments anyone?

I have been developing a site that will be exactly that.

Once I get it completed it will have helpful articles, a place where members can post press releases, and a business directory.

Brilliant brazosit Sounds like a great idea, lets hope that everybody gets behind it. A lot of these directories don't work as they ask for recipricol links and in turn Google downgrades their pagerank. But a nice fresh one can never hurt, especially when it has the other content in there

I agree - a forum that encourages awareness of our businesses would be great. Press releases, or even just a member directory listing the businesses of the YE forum members.
