    Already got 300+ hits

So I started promoting windsorgaming.com for the gaming center. Yesterday alone we got 300+ hits and already today at 7am we're at 60+. I'm definitely excited to get this place going

Where are the hits coming from? Advertisement, local or web? Us on this forum?

The the site is makings its money from traffic, you're going to need a lot more hits than that.

Local advertising. A lot of the hits are locals checking it out. The hits started rolling in after I put the url up out front.

About half of them are unique, I have my IP blocked so I'm assuming none are from me.

Thanks. I put up our URL on the front of the store. Theres a bus top right in front of out building. After school there's about 100-200 kids daily out front waiting for the bus. Within 2 hours Every Friday after the mall closes, we counted about 400-500 on and off the buses.

The sign is really small, we're getting a huge one put up soon.

Are your services ready to sell? or are you just trying to get word out now? Gonna have a grand opening bash?

Uniques are quite different from hits I am afraid. A hit is simply a page loaded once. So 300 hits if you have 50 pages is like 6 people checking each page once.

I do like your gaming centre idea though. Good luck with it.

If you are going to purchase consoles and stuff like that I have contacts.
