The site is alrite - something about the color scheme makes me not like it, I do however like some of your sample logos and banners. Nice work.

I like the scrolling sidebar...great idea to show off work right away and grab peoples interest. However, the bullets on the centered copy of "lets get started" and other pages, looks funny. Maybe try to group the text a little more so you won't have widows at the end of your last paragraph. You have a professional color scheme that looks good too. I would like to see the clouds on your top banner for Marsh Designs instead of the wavy lines...I can be a bit annal, but I think 3 different patterns for watermarks is a bit much. Then again it's your preference. Good job all together, and yes it looks way better.

Overall, great concept and combination of colors.
The color definitely expresses how you want others to perceive and it's a bit dark but a soothing combination.
A few personal pointers that I might add, but please understand these are from my personal perspective, not of everyone. I've never seen the first edition, but from what I see on the second edition, it's definitely a great start.
- Add a Home link, as home is always the first impression you give to others and the information you want people to absorb.
- Left flash scroll is creative, but perhaps allow a clickable link to your logo samples page
- I'm a little bit of a perfectionist, not a big deal, but I can see (aside from the home page where you have your newest work and testimonials) on all the other pages that you have approximately 5-6 pixels off on the left side (unless of course this was purposely done this way).
If you would like to fix this, feel free to message me and I can help you out with that.
- Agreeing with the user above, having 3 different patterns for background images may be a little too much on the eyes, it's best to try to stay consistent with one, but I could be just as anal as the previous user. =)
Your logo designs and print media is very creative, keep up the great work.
Cheers,

With all due respect I can't believe people are saying this is good...
Your trying to get into the graphic/web industry and that is your site? It is poor, especially for what you do!
I'm a graphic/web designer in London and I think that site of yours is really poor...If I wrote about it, I would go on for ever

well my dear funk. I am reaching my target audience by being simple and letting my artwork do the work for me. Sometimes the best way is to be simple. I am in the graphic design business but I am in a whole other arena than you. I am trying to target small businesses and individuals, not big companys. I think simple is the best way and I have alot of people supporting this.
Also I just did this in one day. Cant expect a website to be totally perfect with one day of work? Just trying to get direction with peoples comments and they are helping alot!
But thanks for being honest

lamarsh, it's good to listen to some folks on here, but don't always do as they tell you.
Some folks on here have no clue themselves of what anything is done. They have no track record of work they have done in the past and merely, they have nothing to show for, except may be some affiliate programs, etc., so they get off by talking and down talking about what other people are doing.
As long as you're happy with your site, that's all what matters, because if you keep doing what everyone else is saying, then you may end up with something that you, yourself don't even like.
See, the thing is, we are all different, and whatever we do reflect what we are, so if you take away what you are from your site, and do what other tells you, then it's not you doing it.
My best advice, compile 3 of your closest successful competitors and compare their work, and sites, and see if you can come up with something better and unique.
