    Affiliate Marketing: Clickbank VS Adsense

Interesting article I found about the comparison of clickbank and adsense, both affiliate marketing programs. Check it out

This is a huge question on a lot of affiliate marketers' minds. Which is better mode of monetization? Clickbank or Google AdSense? I have an answer to that question, but this is really an easy question to answer for yourself: try both.

When you get your website up, try AdSense for two weeks to a month, see how much you generate and then for the next two weeks to a month try Clickbank ads. Which earns you more money? At the end of this article you'll see a service I recommend for Clickbank Ads. I like this one particular service because you get much more than just a CB ads script, you also get a built in analysis and Clickbank marketplace search tool. Plus the ads are highly flexible.

In my personal experience I've had sites do better with AdSense and some do better with Clickbank ads. It often depends on your niche. I run a network of entertainment sites and for a while I was earning ten dollars per thousand impressions with Google AdSense. Not bad. Bu Google AdSense just isn't what it used be and for whatever reason Google dropped my revenue to less than a dollar per thousand. This devastated my revenue and sent me scrambling for alternatives. I tried some other AdSense type networks and it was even worse. One of them I was making five cents per thousand. You can't make a living off that.

I tried the CB Ads and I based the ads on a keyword search. I was bringing up entertainment products such as MP3, TV on your PC and dating and relationship eBook and my revenue with Clickbank shot up precisely to forty seven dollar per thousand.

Here is the best bet. Use both. Really, you should have three to five different monetization methods on your website. Diversity creates stability. If one monetization method tanks you're not left high and dry because you have other sources of revenue. I like this method: AdSense, CB Ads, a CPM network and a cost per action network. Sometimes I will often sell my own ads on top of that and I'll use a third-party like Adengage to mange the sale of my own ads.

So to recap, experiment with both, but I highly recommend using both and several other forms of monetization. Never be afraid to try new methods of monetization... after all, you can always stop if they don't work. Furthermore, never grow complacent in finding new ways to make money with your website. Always be on the look-out for new ways to make money.

Get highly flexible Clickbank ads. Try the free demo-- Clickbank Ads. You will get CB ads, mall scripts, a powerful product search and comprehensive analysis on every product available in the Clickbank marketplace.

Clickbank hands down for me. I mean no offense to Google i use adsense. Clickbank has been around for over a decade, they clearly know what they are doing!

I don't really consider Adsense affiliate marketing and clickbank, although is more relevant, both aren't really that great. You can go the CPA and CPS route and actually make way more income.

CPA = Cost Per Action (also sometimes referred to Cost Per Acquisition) and CPS = Cost Per Sale. Differences...

Clickbank is more of an e-book, info type of offer although is still CPA based, sometimes CPS. But heavy CPA focused networks are more into the CPA leadgen type offers and CPS is more like physical products for sale. Examples include affiliate programs for Amazon.com, Apple, etc..

I prefer Clickbank... With Clickbank you have to promote their products and so it would be best you choose products you are familiar with and one that you can promote easily.

From what I've seen I would have to say Click Bank.

I'm currently making money with Commission Junction and I'm able to get a higher sales percentage per clicks. 1000 clicks for me would be worth $1200 minimum.

I usually make 1 or 2 sales per every 12 clicks. I'm current trying to repeat the same with Click Bank ads since they give a higher percentage with their commission.
