    Advice on website

    Dear all,

After much research (and advice from users of this site) we have decided our website needs to be split in to two websites. One to advertise the building service that we offer and the second to concentrate on the interactive community that we have established with our forums, hints and tips, blogs and directory. In particular we hope this will allow us to improve the home page which is very weak at the moment as it is trying to cater for both parts of the site and probably achieving neither.

For the interactive community we will be adding more content and offering membership (with a number of benefits). Are there any other things people think we should include in the redesign?

    All advice much appreciated

A Great site,i have to admit i am not sure that would be a good move to split it into 2.

    Cheers Mega B.

Why don't you think it would be a good idea to split into 2? We are going to use thebuildingexperience.co.uk for the building service and thebuildingexperience.com for the interactive community. We will design them both in the same style though and have heavy linkage between the two.

If you are going down that route of using a .com and .co.uk that would explain a lot and i can understand the logic behind it The site looks good
