Advice on Importing

Hello all!

My name is Alex age 15 and from an early stage i have had an interest in business in general mainly in focused Retail. I have been selling on and off for a few years firstly from when i starting selling snacks in school 3 years ago.

I have been looking for a community with people of common interests and i think i have found it!

Anyway i am 15 now looking to import various electronic products be sell here in the UK.

I am currently at the stage of gaining reliable suppliers in Shenzhen and Taiwan and its taking longer than expected because there are so many scam artists out there also Chinese new year holiday is still on.

I am all ears to all advice and tips you guys have to on Importing because i real new to this.

Congrats at being in business so young.
Just be VERY CAREFUL when dealing with CHINA/ASIA sometimes you will just have to risk it and go for the unknown but make sure you reduce your risk as much as possible before leaping for it.
Also, if you search through the forum I am sure you will find some good tips and advice.

I know where your coming form on the site i am using (alibaba) i have seen hundreds of stories about people getting scammed but the prospect of eventually shipping mass stock into the uk and selling it on is such an exciting prospect for me!
