It looks a little hectic. You have way to many buttons on the left hand side of the site. It also looks very........... bubbly? You are trying to apeal to teens and I don't see that design doing it. Needs more focus. Someone should be able to go to the site and almost immediately know what it is for.

Very generic but better. I would work on content and sections. You have way to many links on the left column.

Research. Find sites that you use and figure out why you like them. What makes them easy to use. Then take that information and keep it in mind while you redesign yours. If you want the site to be taken more seriously I suggest that you get your own domain name. Backend logins like "Moderators only" should not be seen on the main page. I'm not sure what your goals are so I can only give you broad information.

What are backend logins? I'm sort of new at this...as you can see...

Do you know of any inexpensive domain websites?

To give advice to people; hire volunteer staff; make money from something like Google AdSense and Bravenet, .etc; and most of all, get lots of website hits

I think it is too difficult to ask for advice. I don't like giving out my email everywhere I go. Maybe if you verified that it will be kept private that would alleviate some fear. Also I think you should do this:

Separate the categories on the left into maybe 5-7 simple categories like:
    Love
    Happiness and Depression
    Family and Friends
and whatever you think are the BIG categories.

Then when you click those pages have headers with each sub category: girls, boys, relationships, etc. under LOVE. This would simplify things and keep your number of pages down.

Also look into getting a banner, I just added one to my site and it really sets it off: www.ThePoetryBlog.com

    Hope that helps.

I would spend the next few days researching other sites that do what you are looking at doing and then move forward. It could work but you will end up having to network with churches and places with support groups. You will most likely need to hire someone to do the web design that has experience. Most people determine if they like a website in less than 1 second. You need someone who can make it pop and give you the features you need.

I can't add pages to the website, without displaying it on the Navigation Bar, though. Like I can't include links to other advice sections on one page, and not have the pages on the Navigation Bar.

As for the banners, what website do you recommend making a banner at? That's free, of course...

The problem is, I just don't have the kind of money to go "all out", .etc, because, after all, I am only 13 years old...
