    Advice needed for Distributorship

Hi guys, I'm relatively new to the distributor business. Currently I have an offer to distribute a tech product that has not been launch in my Country whereas it's already marketed in U.S and most of Europe & Asia.

However, the products that I will be getting from would be from another distributor near my country just across the border (can't say which country for personal reasons). Would it be worth taking up this offer as I'm told from some friends that I should be DIRECTLY getting the goods straight from the product's sales office instead of getting from a 2nd distributor.

Anyone can advise? I'm not sure if I should go ahead and work with the 2nd distributor as there is a high chance for me to get rejected to become a distributor from the parent company. Furthermore working with a 2nd distributor would really cut the profits right? Thanks.

Go straight to the parent company mate, if you are purchasing from a distributor, you are paying wholesale prices, you need to go direct to the parent company where you would pay distributor prices.

Also make sure you ask for exclusive rights to sell the product in your country, they will probably have MOQ's per month that you would have to meet, so you need to work out if it is worth it or not.

I am a distributor in Australia and New Zealand, if you need any advice pm me

    Good Luck

    Matt
