Advertising a web business

Hi people, im completely new to this whole business thing and was looking for advice on how to get my business going. How did you get yours noticed? Maybe there's some tips on how I can get seen on the internet by not paying out. My website offers a free service at the moment, as this is the only way I compete with the others, I do believe I offer a unique service, but I would like all the advice I can get from you guys, either about improving my website or getting it seen.

Your service is not unique. It is web advertising. How do you compete? You will have to read everything that you can get your hands on about web advertising and start reading. Redo your website and then provide a service that really helps people or companies. If you want ideas on how to get your site going then I would start by searching the forum. A lot of good material has already been discussed.

You need to revamp your website - it's not a unique concept but you can surely improve it. You will find a lot of online advertising talk, materials and report on the net that you can study before drafting your plan.
