Adsense Success

Has anyone here had real success with adsense whether it be from a blog or other website?

Ive tested it on a very small scale. The site in my signiture has had 200 hits (in about 1 week) and has made $3.50 from the adsense. (nearly got my money back for the spur of the moment domain purchase I was in bed and saw my credit card next to the bed so I bought it )

Im sure others have made more

I have made abotu 500$ from 200,000 page views on one of my projects... I dont like adsense, securing a permanent advertiser that wants the market that are attracted to my website was much more successful... I have so far recieved around 3000$ so I would say try and find a permanent advertiser

I am using ad-brite instead. I like it much better. Been using it for 2 days and have gotten 50 cents.

Good stuff. Seems like most people are reaching some level of success with Adsense. It's definitely not easy to get thousands of hits on your page, the only way to really make a killing with adsense. I'm wondering AdBrite will work better. My only concern is that it's somewhat intrusive and annoying.

When I posted a new ad for Zappos.com (amusement park employees need good shoes), I ended up making about $50.00 on about 6000 visits. Not bad, huh? You just need to find an advertiser with a good program that fits your niche.
Yes, CJ I have to say are the market leaders and are number 1 for me easily out of the lot of them. Check them out:

AdSence is a tricky monster and by far the most profitable IF you know how to use it. Here are some stats from a test site I did. They key is to deliver what google is looking for =)
