I've seen those lists as well, and I am sure thousands of other people have seen them.

So why wouldn't a ton of people just make a blog/site about meslomathemia or whatever it is and throw up some adsense? You figure you'll usually get a CTR of around 1%, so all you need to do is get 100 people to visit and make $50 off of one click.

Lets wait and see what theprodigy101 says about his earnings per click. I have a site about one of the keywords high on that list (just uploaded it today) so I'll tell you later when my adsense earnings update if the earnings per click are anything significant.

Hmmm, interesting. I haven't tried Adsense myself. In September, I am going to have to start this (I wn't have time while Im at home, starting tomorrow, due to work; plus, my connection at home is a DSL cable connection Im not too fond of , versus the broadband wireless and T3 LAN connection I have in Milwaukee haha).

So, in September, or better yet, even August, I'll love if someone could give me a hand in starting up my own AdSense project(s) to help pay for my apartment starting in August or Sept. Once I get it, I'll be more of a broke college student lol...well if I dont let things get that way.

Well sorry to get your hopes up Bemyownboss and everyone else, but I got seven clicks today (thanks guys) and amassed a mere $0.83.

Am I missing something? Does how much you get paid per click depend on your CTR or other factors?

I hate to burst your bubbles, but Mesothelioma is no longer a high paying keyword. Back in the heyday of "mesothelioma keywords" (before government regulation) I would earn between $10-15 per click on my ad. Now I am lucky to get a nickle for the same advertisement. From my research and investigating I found some decent paying keywords to be about "conference calls and loans". Thanks all!

That's really odd because $28-$42 per click is what Google claims to be the current bid for mesothelioma, not some old list. I didn't know about any government regulation going on either. I guess it's time to look for new keywords. Thanks for the tips 360 and cush.

subscribing to this thread. and theprodigy. I would do your background reserch for keywords as well as government regulation. Its always good for your money to roll in if your on top of the market. i think you have potential to make some money off of it, but it seems like you dont do your due diligence to keep on top of the game.

What exactly do you mean by "keep on top of the game?" I've spent hours on google just researching the highest paying keywords and search volume. Also, I'm pretty sure there is no such government regulation limiting the amount of pay on keywords.
