It will be down to two things:
-Like "Buynick" said, clicking on your own adverts
-Or they are pay per impression adverts..

I don't know about zero cents, but the amount google pays for certain clicks varies dramatically - from watching my account, it can vary anywhere from a penny for certain clicks to over a buck.

dont bother with adsense, try using some other form of advertising.
