Ad Biz

Hello,

I am fairly new to this site and have been working on coming up with a few Internet biz ideas. One I've thought of I'm pretty sure would take quite a bit of capital to start-up. It would be similar to that of Orbitz or Expedia, but for advertising. I was thinking of a website that would be a bank where companies could bid on air time via TV, radio...even online advertisement. It would almost cut out the middle man at an ad company. I don't know if there is anything out there yet, haven't really seen much. But, I thought it might be an untapped niche. What do you think? Anyone familiar with the ad world?

Any thoughts you can provide would be great!

Ad companies do alot more then just find spots but they think of, develope, and produce the ads. And big companies diffinatly have the capital to hire an ad agency as they are profesionals and know when and whre their ads should run. It may be benneficial to small bussiness's but all it takes is an email to get a rate card from and media.

Google does this, companies bid on ads including billboards, radio and magazine ads.
