ACN. Why so negative?

Hi guys, I posted a thread last night about a business I'm into at the moment and shared it with the board.. Think it got deleted for some reason.. it was about ACN, the largest direct selling telecommunications business in the world. I could only read one post in my email which said

"Simply go in Ripoff Report and search "ACN" and you can learn lots about this company. This is not a true and honest entrepreneurial opportunity. Trying to post garbage here. Plus this is your first post here, I'd be embarrassed to post anything more if I were you."

Not sure why I got slammed for sharing, I thought that was the purpose for this place!
I went to ripoff report and read lots about people talking about ACN and how much of an apparent scam it is.. Obviously these people didn't do much work! like any job, work is involved! Also in nearly every thread there is rebuttal from someone..

And it was my first post.. Got to start somewhere! Why not write about what I do and if anyone else was interested?

So whoever that was needs to relax and if you don't like the sound of something then share reasons why etc. Not be so negative and quick to decide whether something is a scam through a website where people post their bad experiences. With all businesses comes negative people. Someones going to have a badtime with something, we're all human and make mistakes, even businesses! Don't trust anyone, do your own homework. I did for 2 weeks before joining ACN, and now having great success.

Hi Paul-

When you say you've experienced great success after two weeks how do you define success ? How many people have you signed up ? Did you get your friends and family as is encouraged ? I ask this because I attended a sales pitch type meeting in Paradise Valley, AZ this evening. The presenters were pretty smooth and everything they said came right out of the ACN sales playbook (same example scenarios to answer questions posed by attendees). The most commonly listed complaint has been how many have jeopardized friendships and alienated family by pitching the ACN services. Is this really a sustainable business model, or a quick $500 beans for the folks at the very top. A few of us considered signing up but the overwhelming negative feedback out-there has given us pause. I hear you loud and clear about working hard and all that, a given in order to achieve success in any business. I speak from 17 years of entrepreneurial experience. My question is: How much money have you netted (put in your pocket) in two weeks time ?

LOL. Pretty bold statement. ACN is not a scam. I am in no way shape or form involved with ACN.

You have proven yourself to be much more of the sheep than you may realize. Do your own research, think for yourself, and maybe don't believe every rumor u hear. Especially when those legitimately thinking they got scammed being so blatantly blind to how a business needs to be operated, that i do not consider these credible sources.

ACN is a business opportunity like any other. The people bashing it, and calling it a scam are SIMPLE. They should stick to their 9-5 and buying scratch tickets.

Do your research before you go making such harsh claims and realize where people who are calling ACN a scam are coming from.

In most cases its the BAIT and SWITCH when they leverage ACN as a targeting keyword, then say ACN is a terrible company, u should join theirs instead... basic marketing, not original in the least.

Everyone should start thinking for themselves and doing their homework.

Keep believing what you are told and not coming to your own conclusions and see how far it gets you.

There are tons of business opps, some better then others, but ACN is legitimate despite what you may or may not of heard.


If you have to be pitching friends and family, then thats simply poor marketing. Nothing to do with the opportunity, product line or anything.

In order to have a successful business you have to have successful marketing plane and simple. And the people who do not learn to market and rely on pitching friends and family fail. That is why 97% of home business owners fail. They do not learn the necessary skills or take the necessary action. They are miss lead by MLM companies using ANCIENT marketing tactics.

However in no way shape or form does that qualify the business opportunity as a scam.

ACN is not a scam people! I can testify to that!

I think its some technical glitch mate. I came here this morning with a real passion for sharing and starting responding to some threads i found interesting, after a few minutes all my posts disappeared

Let that not discourage you sharing man, these things happen they were probably updating when you posted.
