Accountant Vs. Attourney

Hello,

I am currently putting together a business. The two roadblocks would be

1. Understanding and choosing the best biz structure
2. Getting all the papers out and ready to go

I don't have the time to be a jack of all trades nor would I want to. A decent grasp is just fine for me.

But What do you suggest would be the best route for this?

Go to an accountant first to see what he thinks then an attourney to execute the papers?

Or can an attorney comfortably handle these questions?

A decent corporate attourney could handle these issues just fine. Typically, they have a vast business education, and they have to study a great deal about corporate structure and laws pertaining to these things. If your attourney can not handle this, you should get a new attourney.

Attourney will definitely help you out to decide what would work for your business the best. I would also suggest SCORE. They have classes, and counseling available. I actually met with a councilor at the DC office today. She was wonderful, and highly excited about ThinkEntre.

Think about doing that, it's free... doesn't hurt. You definitely want to go into the meeting with the attourney knowing everything you can and having a good idea about what structure you think suits you best before you meet with the attourney. They charge big bucks by the hour, so you don't want to spend a lot of time there...
