About building a mailing list

Hey, whats up everyone?

So I've been building a mailing list for a year now and its been great

but does anyone have any tips or techniques to use that can make building or maintaining a list more effective?

If your website includes buying products or sign up for something different, try include the mailing list subscription in the sign up/check out process. That way you can build up and maintain your mailing list much more efficient. Also of course much depends on what kind of mailing list software you use. It has to be automatic with unsubscription service, etc. You shouldn't be using time for the mailing list other than just write emails!

Another side note is that the content you send to the mailing list should be great. You need people to read and use it and hopefully they recommend the mailing list to their friends creating good viral marketing.

Didn't purchase them, but sell them. Some of the breakdowns are very detailed. If you want give me a specific target market, I'll give you a sample.

WOW, sounds interesting. I'd just keep in mind that your list has to be niched. If you are looking to launch a new startup or get news out about something you are working on to people then this list would help. The only thing is that the people on the list should care and that will happen when they share an interest as you so make sure you aren't spamming everyone rather keeping in mind who might be interested and help you spread the word.
