A Discovery That Will Test Your Entrepreneurship
I recently received a publication that was written by a professor that taught, well, entrepreneurship. And there was one part that made me realize that I can be an entrepreneur without being a "traditional entrepreneur." Let me explain.
Every year, the professor polled his class and asked them why they took his class. The response was always, "I don't want to work for anyone."
Of course, with any business start-up comes risk and not many of us love to take it (there is a way the adroit entrepreneur can minimize it, but I'll focus on how we can test our entrepreneurship right now).
The professor went on to state that there is more to being an entrepreneur than just starting a business. You can be working for someone right now and still hone your entrepreneur skills.
Look around you. Do you see a need?
There is opportunity everywhere if you're a true entrepreneur. Here's the simple phrase headlining the article:
"Find a Need, Create a Solution."
Your solution IS the product. And now, with big businesses participating in affiliate programs, there are already millions of products/solutions out there ready to solve your (target) market's problems.
He went further on to say, "Entrepreneurship is the process of seeking and finding new opportunities, taking calculated risks, using limited resources, and ultimately creating value - economic, social, environmental, artistic and/or cultural."
In this Information Age, start-up cost for an online business is soooo trivial compared to traditional brick and mortar businesses. With money being eliminated as an obstacle, the only thing that is holding you back from your entrepreneur dreams is that decision to "go for it."
