$500 and COUNTING

Just recently, I was watching a very rich successful hip hop mogul's tv show. He bought up something that I would love to ask some of the inspiring or already succesfull entrepreneurs on this site. If you dont mind sharing or discussing your own ideas feel free.

Well he gave a team of 3 members $500 and told them to bring him home some money. He is challenging them to test there entrepreneur skills. Basically, he was asking them to flip $500 and bring back as much as they can. But he was expecting 3x's as much in return. What kind of ideas or stories you guys have to share? If somebody took all your money and left you with $500 to build your empire could you?

I am curious to hear from you guys

That's an interesting little project, and I think it puts money in a nice perspective. I think many times, people get caught up in the 'how much is it going to cost me' aspect, without thinking about setting a ceiling.

If one were left with $500 to build upon, I think many people would prevail. I am not sure what I'd do with $500 on a whim -- that would take some genuine thought and planning. That said, it's interesting how given that ceiling of funds, it's looked at as a maximum set of expenditures -- whereas in most business cases, $500 pays for only one or two services out of a number needed to "succeed" by some standards.

I completely analyzed this way too much lol, but I am very interested to see some of the responses here. Of course -- you could always start Cash Gifting (JOKE!)
