You could always optimize a Flash website, but it is never as good as real text. Google any competitive keywords and you will see that there is no 100% Flash website on the first 10 results.

There is a simple way to perfectly optimize a Flash site using Javascript, HTML, and conditional statements. I've talked about it in a thread before. But this notion that Flash cannot rank well is not true. Anything can rank well given a good enough link profile.

I was talking about SEO best practices. I didn't mean that a Flash website can't rank well. As you know, there are a lot of factors that determine a website's ranking. You can be OK at some of them and great at other aspects and rank very well.

i'm not sure if i figured it out but my website took 48 hours to be ranked on first page of google... not a competitive term 'energy cans' ... but i imagine that it is the same concept for competitive terms... just have to play the time card a little more

I also got websites ranked on the first page within a couple of hours. My record is 34 minutes! But those were not very competitive markets.

I've been working for over 4 months to rank a website for "low rate loans" and I am not anywhere near the first page yet. It really depends on how competitive a market is.

If you have a high authority domain, you can rank brand new content immediately. And if you have an exact match domain name you can get top rankings fairly easily and quickly.
