There are a lot of weaknesses that traditional schools have - find them and capitalize on them.

One that Robert Kiyosaki points out is the lack of basic financial education.
If you want to be rich, sell products and services.
If you want to be insanely rich, create and control markets.

Ok well to be more precise, I am starting a Summer School programme in London. IT's usually like 2 weeks long, for students from other countries to have a holiday while also learning some english.

I've worked in summer schools for the last 4 years.

The leading one in London is - embassyces.com

I see a lot of things that I want to capitalize on and make better. I want to bring a human/personal touch to it instead of - We got your money now take care of yourself attitude.

So my 5 points listed above relate to that - I'm trying to think of a number 5

Tau - I would put interest in you as on the same lines as 5 star treatment

So it is a short course that only lasts for 2 weeks for visitors to the country. So, i suppose, you treat them like they are coming here for a genuine holiday. In a 5-star hotel treatment... at the same time, learning a lot about the country, ultimately English. Intrigue them to come to London furthermore, and possibly your school again =)

I always have a problem with this fallacy. In the 5th and ninth grades we had to take consumer math classes. We learned about loans, interest, compound interest, checkbooks, the full cost of items after loans, how to get a mortgage, how to get an SBA loan. The woman from the SBA was really rude, I remember that.

I remember one project in 5th grade had me making my own checkbook. and photocopying pretend checks. I remember a movie about a guy straight out of the army buying furniture from a rent to own store and paying too much money for things.

I talked to people at my office reading Rich Dad and they talked about the problem, but then remembered that they took consumer math classes or did projects in school and simply forgot about them. I am pretty confident that Kiyosaki is incorrect here. We are given consumer math education, but do we remember it as adults? Or is it something like, in 1985 why didn't we learn about adjustable rate mortgages (they were really uncommon back then, but that changed).
