    $400,000,000 secret

    I use to work for a info commercial company they did around $400,000,000 per year. While working there I learned one of the most powerful marketing strategies around. This secret is what helped me to stop losing money in my advertising.

    I have since found a upcoming marketing guru that teaches this strategy for only $7.00. This strategy helped a friend of mine to ad another $30,000 of cash flow to this business each month.

    Let me share the secret front end and back end products. If you have ever ordered anything from TV you will know once they call you they upsell you on another product right.

    The income that is generated from this product pays for the advertising. The money that is generated from the back end sale is where they keep their money.

    McDonalds does the same thing they first sell you a value hamburger. Then they ask you would you like fries with that they just sold you a back end product.

    Most businesses are not using this skill. I have coached businesses teaching them how to use this skill in their business from carpet cleaners to insurance companies. This is a skill that all businesses should be using.

    Good basic logic, just working on opening up a new venture and working on my lead in items as I speak here. I am debating opening it up for discussion here on line for comments and feed back. Rather specialized field and I would only be working my area so not too worried about my idea being stolen. I think I will open up a new thread related to this. Steve

    Prostar, something I mention from time to time that fits well in this thread. Years ago I ran an add for one of our sub contractors and aggreed to answer the phone in our office if she reffered us to the customers. The add was for Wall paper removal. The add cost me about $30.00 a month and I sold more interior products from that one add than all my other adds combined. It connected me with the right customer at the right stage in what they were doing, at the very begining. Since that time I have always attempted to duplicate that logic, sometimes successfully and sometimes not so but the logic is there for sure. Steve

    I love this strategy! I have used it myself and I see it being used all over the place and I agree with you every business should be upselling, downselling and cross selling addition products/services

    At the end of the day there are only 3 ways to increase profits in your business.
    Get more customers
    Increase your prices
    increase repeat purchases

    By including just one upsell you can increase your profits without doing any extra work. Many people focus on getting more customers which can cost a lot of money in some cases. Selling to existing customers is much easier and cheaper to.

    Another extremely powerful marketing strategy that most small businesses don't do is form host beneficiary relationships or Joint Ventures
