There is some free CAD shareware out there. I've done Vector CAD, but can't do 3D. If you want a 3D making program download Anim8or.

I work with industrial wastewater equipment and we frequently need to make CAD drawings. AutoCAD is out of our price range so i was wondering if anyone knew of a good beginner software that is inexpensive?

I really suggest you get someone with previous experience to do it!
Try going on elance and posting a job, I don't think it will cost that much either!
