2 heads are better than 1

Why dont we help each other out by informing one another when we come accross something quite usefull or that starts working very well. This should best be for a specific subject/interest. In other words, we could trade knowledge for that subject as we come accross it. This is a win-win situation could even better work for a group of dozen people or something.

For example: I am intersted in financial tools and lets say 3 other people from this forum are aswell. We start this group today. Tomorow, one of the group member comes across website XYZ that calculates average returns for the past 20 years for a company and shares this information with us (which we might not have come across). Next week, I find this awesome free software that can download financial data from websites and I share this with my group (which they themselves might not have come across).

Sounds intersting? Anything wrong with this?

Yea this idea is simple it's called networking and making friends. When you make friends in the same field as you with the same interests this is exactly what will happen, you'll share ideas and information but it can't really be forced.

Just get out there and email people you see blogging or posting about financial tools and offer some resources you've found and ask for a little help with something yourself.

I think you have the wrong idea. No formal structure for this would ever work, there should never be any rules or set groups, just friends helping each other out. Make friends provide useful knowledge and they'll provide it back to you.

100k$ is better than 50k$, have you noticed that most of the active members here rarely talk about their own businesses? Unless they are trying to promote. Why? because this is a feeding ground for wannabe entrepreneurs. I sure as hell am not going to start divulging how i make my money, unless I will gain from sharing this knowledge. This is not to say I have not shared my gained knowledge with hundreds on the forums. Its just I try not to associate my personal dealings. I think this is fair.
