    #2 Biz Idea for You

Bulk Buyer (Get Customers together to buy a product @ cheaper price than retailer and so bypass retailer for a fee). Group purchase for economies of scale site. Something like Woot : One Day, One Deal (SM) and Fundable Online Fundraising — Welcome. Think that you could make $1 per item and you would sell $500.

    What do you think?

I was actually pondering the same thing last week. Something like a reverse auction website where customers have to get other people to buy in on the bulk buy. Problem I came up with was that you would still essentially be the middle man if you ended up charging for the shipping.

You don't want to charge them for your service? I don't understand what you mean.

People get discounted prices from distributors because they are not charged shipping. If you charge for shipping and then a service fee you are essentially charging retail price, right?

But this idea is based on "economies of scale" so since you buy en mass you will get it cheaper than average joe retailer. Since joe can only afford to get 50 PSP, you buy 500 so you will get a lower price.

    Does this make sense?

i really like this idea, it makes sense.

from your last post i was thinking though where is the profit? say you get 100 stores to pitch in and buy the same thing because essentially they all want it for cheaper than whoever there getting it from, how are you going to get any profit if you need to tax a little for getting it for them for cheaper

sorry if that dosnt make perfect sense
You can't achieve your goals if you don't take that chance so go pry open your trunk and take those amps.

I don't understand what you mean with being taxed. You will be taxed regardless if you buy 1 or 100.

Can you please clarify your question.
