19 Year Old Motivational Speaker [Social Networking Marketing Strategy]

    Hi;

    My name is David-Daniel Mills.
    I'm 19 years old and I'm a motivational speaker.
I just launched my website CyberElevation.com

Basically a customer signs up, they pay me $19.95, and I give them a motivational video to help them create that inner self-motivation that is essential to success every week. I also mention wisdom and principles to be absorbed during my presentation.

    It's win/win.

They concentrate on what's important to them.
And I concentrate on helping them get what's important to them.
And they give me a very small proportion of what they earn.

Now I've been needing a marketing strategy that I can use to increase awareness about my service. In my opinion it's of great value to anyone who speaks English and who is aged between 16 and 35 (to 50) [By 50 people really should know what they're doing - You'd hope.].

After the release of Facebook Deals/ Facebook Places. I came up with this:
    cyberelevation.com/specialoffer.html

My half price offer is for anyone with a facebook, myspace, and or twitter account.
Basically they advertise my website on their social networking profile and in return I give them $10 off each purchase. And instead of paying $19.95 the price that they pay is reduced to $9.95.

I think it's really good value. If they purchase all 7 video series: ...

My customer will recieve a high quality motivational video each week for 7 months.
And will pay $69.65 in total throughout that 7 month period.

You're welcome to sign-up. I'm working on the third episode as we speak and it would be great to get some feedback from other entrepeneurs because we are all the pattern makers of society. Particularly us who are so young. We're creating the future.

If you have any other suggestions in regards to the content of my work or how I can market it most effectively please let me know! Thank you!

    homepage : cyberelevation.com
    halfprice : cyberelevation.com/specialoffer.html

    youtube link: youtube.com/watch?v=580Z_iZ7slw

(Reason for youtube link when I have the video available on my website: If a lot of people view it it will become more popular and I'll get more traffic. :P / Also saves on bandwidth within the first few days which is useful.)

    Best Regards,

    David-Daniel Mills

so i've had a look at the vid..good start
    tips for improvement:
    - offer your services to one, highly segmented target market only
i.e. internet marketers, financial services, etc etc
    - quantify the benefits of your "education"
don't say "make the most of your emotional energy"
say "explode your online marketing revenues by making the most of your emotional strategy"
..you need to connect quantifiable benefits of your product to the needs of your target market
    - lose the casual style; my expectation from a coach is that of a serious researcher who reads case studies for a living...the casual look gives an impression that you're sitting in your kitchen making things up in your head
    - don't read lines..speak naturally
    - use visuals in your presentations. make your presentations case study driven.
    - speak slower
    - call your self a coach rather than a motivational speaker...the later have a bad rep

I second what Akula says, you talk really well but you defiantly can't read from a script when trying to motivate someone, could you imagine A football coach reading his half time pep talk of a script, it just wouldn’t have the same meaning and loses its emotion.

Also target target target, nobody goes looking for a motivational talker. Maybe target Uni students that need coaching for exams and a bit of motivation etc.

Also I noticed your an Aussie, have you thought about joining a toastmasters club, I think you would find it very useful.

Its not just what you say, its how you say it.

I would agree with Akula on this one. Good job taking action and making things happen. Keep it up
