Anyway you can get some money from parents or relatives? If you have a truck a party rental business is a good idea. Being 16, you're a junior in high school? I started with about a $5,000 investment and you can expect to make that back your first season if you do it right. Being in high school, you can talk to your school and get your name out there.
Looking for fun? What about a bounce house rental?

I also started my first business when I was a Junior in highschool. It was an online retail store where I sold Knick Knacks and some electronics. I Then got into more electronics and now I have stopped my line of Knick Knacks (I still sell to people that are interested but I do not promote it) and i have gone to just electronics and security equipment. I just added a line of new products of biometric security products. After I started to sell more security products then anything I decided to create a new business name and started Bulwark Protection Service, LLC in January of this year. Now I do unarmed maned security and offer security systems. If you would be interested in selling security products I can help you get into it. You can start with some of the companies that I use which some do charge a yearly fee or require a large order to get a wholesale price. I am always looking to help people and if you are serious I can just sell you my products to you so you would not have to have the large investment cost. Also about 18 months ago I started a Laser Tag business Because there was nothing to do in my town for enteratinment and wanted to have something to do every now and then. So i started to have laser tag events around town for the public and for private parties. The system that I have is mobile and does not take any computer system or high tech skills to use. I am selling it to get a system that is just used for inside use becuase I am getting a building to start an "Arcade" If you would be interested in starting an laser tag business I can sell you my equipment and help you get started Please let me know if you are interested or want more input. Sorry this post is so long.

Ive heard a little about AM but idk if it actually works, but if you stumble back on the thead id love to see it. Tim Id still like to learn more so if you want to email me at andrew.blunk6ATgmail.com Id love to hear more and maybe pick your brain because you seem very succesful. I consider myself in the learning/experimantal stage right now so im not looking to go head first into something at the moment, i have some learning to do but by dreams are big

That's not going to work. If you don't want to put the time/energy into making it happen due to other things going on in your life, you might as well save yourself the trouble and not worry about starting a business at this time.

Pick something you're interested in or learn something valuable like HTML or website design, so you venture into the world of e-commerce.

Find something your good at and get paid for it... whether its logo design with photoshop or website design with dreamweaver... either way... buying into or getting involved with some cheap or free MLM program isnt gonna solve your problem. In order to make money... you either need to have money to startup with, mostly for marketing. Or have a skill that a market is willing to pay for. take a look at my blog... i have some relatively inexpensive methods for making money online... but again... takes money to make money... nothing worth something comes free.

If you have any skills in photoshop/illustrator take a look at freelancer dot com. You can bid on logo design projects... You can make a nice buck, save it up and head off on a real venture.

if you don't have the time to learn/use a "skill" or for commitment you shouldn't waste your time. sorry to burst your bubble bud, but you cant get something for nothing in this world. if it was easy they wouldn't call it work. and starting a business is something that most definitely takes time and commitment. ....your best bet might be to get a job at the local mcdonalds

Yeh I must agree. If it was easy to make money online, everyone would be doing it. You cant just spend a few hours a week on something and expect to make a single cent.

When I first started online, it was about 6months before I made a single cent, and I was 18 and still in highschool. I spen about 12-14 hours a week on it. Even though I made no money for 6 months, It was so worth it when I did start making money.

By the time I was 19 I had was well and truly making enough money to move out of home and get a mortgage on my own place(by then I was working online full time) and now I am 25 and have been doing this for 7 years, I still spend 4-6 hours a day working.

Basically you will not be able to make any money online with only a few spare hours a week. When first starting a business, most people work incredibly long hours without making much money, but after a while the rewards are enormous and it is all worth while.

    Hopes this helps!
