For women or men? If for women I don't think so. Anyways how are you going to do a good haircut in ten minutes?

Supercuts and places like that are pretty cheap and semi-fast, but I don't think they cut hair in 10 minutes.

Yeah a haircut in under 15 minutes could only be a buzz. Unless it was like a machine in chitty chitty bang bang, no one could do a good job that fast.

Supercuts is pretty fast and i always go there. They probably take 25 minutes for a haircut and do a good job(cost is $14 for regular mens cut).

Good idea

Cheng that would be a excellent idea for a business in the U.S., if you are telling the truth about doing it in ten minutes. They are not salons like that in the U.S., so the market is open. Good luck with that Cheng, and God bless.

I would have to agree that he is telling the truth. I read an article about 10 things that China does better than us (referencing Canada, since it was a Canadian publication). In their department stores, their pants are not pre hemmed, and they do free hemmings in 3 minutes there. It was a pretty sweet article. I will see if I can google it.

well seems that there really isnt such a salon after all there. btw how long will it take before a normal americian gets another haircut?

actually this business will cost really a bomb to start. to create the entire system and train your staff will cost you almost triple of what it takes to open a mac donald. but from what i see, most american guys have short hair and i suppose you guys cut your hair often?

I am also looking for a US partner that can do operations in the US.

My hair is about 1-2 inches and I cut it about every 4-5 weeks. I thikn that's about the average.

I don't think the styles would matter, just because we usually have short hair, it doesn' t mean that is necessarily easier to cut.

people arent concerned about the time it takes to cut their hair. the majority of men and women are willing to spend hours to get their hair coloured and styled.

our hair is one of our most noticeable features that we take pride in and don't want somebody with scissors in their hand trying to beat their previous time record.

in the triangle of business there is time, price, and quality. you can only offer two of the three things at once. so your business can be the best quality out there with the fastest turnaround but it will cost the consumer more. or you can be the fastest service at the cheapest price but the quality will lack. you get where im going.

i really dont think you have a chance in the us or canada with your current business direction. i would much rather have a quality haircut and spend 30 minutes in a chair and pay reasonable prices, like i currently do.

supercuts and all of the anti-salon haircutters out there are cheap and the quality isnt the worst, but they definitely take more than 10 minutes.

maybe you could go the pet salon route and open the Fastest Feline Furlon.
