$10,000 to start - what to do!
As you can tell from my post count I am new here. However I having been reading this forum for a good few weeks now. As of yesterday I just received my two-year degree and I'm finishing up my final two-years at a university in the fall. In the past month I have read multiple books on - well becoming a young entrepreneur. I have inherited $10,000 and for the last few weeks I have been trying to decide what to do with it. A few ideas come to mind.
Stocks.
Mutual.
Play it safe with a 10 month CD.
Ebay/Amazon.

I've been giving ebay a shot lately and have found some success in buying/reselling directly from ebay. I have read some horrifying posts on buying from wholesalers/dropshipping/liquidators/ so I am a bit reluctant to venture into that aspect of ebay. If I found a reliable source I would be interested but finding one is of course the most difficult process. I have a few good resources - my father has a good sized amount of money he would be willing to invest me when I come up with a plan and my brother builds webpages/progamming. When it comes to ebay finding my 'niche' is extremely tough mainly because of shipping constraints. A product that I built a few years ago sold great at farmers markets but the size made it impossible to ship. Recently I have been trying to flip books but the profit and time spent searching for resources just doesn't seem worth it. I am extremely ambitious and determined to get this started. If anyone has any ideas I would love to hear them and I will take all the advice I can get.

Your thread focuses on real estate which I do not have the background or current knowledge to risk investing this early on. It was more of a general question.

hmmm my thread wasnt just about real estate, it was just on how to invest 10k, but whats weird is i dont see it in my earlier post in this thread... was it ever there? or did you have to search to find the thread I was talking about
