I usually do the marketing in different groups and pages that are related to my product.

Hey if you have not already set up a facebook page that people can like and you can advertise your product. From here you can link it to your bolg and it is from your blag that you make the sale, whereas the facebook is mainly for advertising.

What i would personaly do to advertise would be
first join a few similar groups and post relivant content on there pages, this will then lead back to your page
post viral videos (that are relient) as they spreed very quickly
this is gonna sound strange but creat a youtube channel, your videos can be linked to your facebook page, its a much more visual than simply talking about your product and it rearly does work. Also with youtube having 2 billion views a day, thats always a plus.

Has this actually worked well for anyone? I tried it, failed horribly, moved to twitter, and have stuck with twitter ever since. I think Twitter is more effective, and it's definitely faster!

I am agree with RealCamz Twiter is more effective on my opinion
